Land taken for the Purposes of a State Highway Depot in the Borough of Balclutha.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a State highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.
Being Section 13, Block VII, Town of Balclutha (Borough of Balclutha) (Otago R.D.).

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96894, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of August, 1937.

Land taken for the Purposes of paddocking Driven Cattle in Block XIII, Haurangi Survey District, Featherston County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of paddocking driven cattle, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Featherston as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 0 roods 19Β·6 perches.
Being portion of Te Kopi Block No. 2, Subdivision 3a.
Situated in Block XIII, Haurangi Survey District. (S.O. 3166.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96428, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of August, 1937.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 2 roods.
Being part Section 98, Town of Wellington. (S.O. 2604.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79633, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of August, 1937.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Ngatapa Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 2 roods 32 perches.
Being portion of Lot 1 of Section 6; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 roods 35Β·2 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lots 1 and 2 of Section 6, Section 3, and Lot 1, D.P. 2642, being part Section 4; coloured green.

All situated in Block IX, Ngatapa Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1495, brown.)

All in the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95844, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of August, 1937.
