Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block XI, Belmont Survey District, Johnsonville Town District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for the Wellington-New Plymouth Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 9·33 perches.

Being portion of railway land.

Situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District (Johnsonville Town District) (Porirua R.D.). (S.O. 3111.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91675, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured neutral.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of August, 1937.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block IV, Makotuku Survey District, Borough of Ohakune.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
