NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections will be offered for sale for cash or on deferred payments by public auction at the Lands Office, Tauranga, on Thursday, 4th March, 1937, at 11.30 o’clock a.m., under the Land Act, 1924.

Moturiki Township is situated on the eastern shore of the Tauranga Harbour, access being by “all weather” road from the Mount which is distant approximately one mile. Flat, easy to undulating land, suitable for use as sites for seaside cottages. All sections are in a natural state of fern, scrub, and stunted tea-tree. Sections 5, 8, 9, and 10 have a frontage to Ohinetama Street, Sections 21 and 27 have a frontage to Omanawhiri Street, and Sections 17 and 18 have a frontage to Oturoa Street.

Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 19th January, 1937.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 22nd February, 1937.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Thursday, 25th February, 1937, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
Applicants are required to produce for inspection when examined documentary evidence of their financial position, such as bank pass-books, certificates or letters of credit from managers of banks, financial institutions, or mercantile firms, or from private persons or parents undertaking to give financial assistance. Persons undertaking to assist financially should state to what extent they are prepared to do so and supply guarantees of their own financial position.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and deposit in reduction of improvement loading.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.
Raylan County.—Awaroa Survey District.
(Exempt from payment of rent for five years.*)
SECTION 9, BLOCK VI: Area, 286 acres 2 roods. Capital value, £145; half-yearly rent, £2 18s.
- After payment of required deposits no further rent will be charged for a period of five years provided the lessee effects improvements to the satisfaction of the Land Board.
Weighted with £202 for improvements, comprising a five-roomed dwelling and outbuilding, stable and barn, road, boundary fencing, and half-share in boundary-fencing, clearing and grassing. This sum is payable in cash, or, after payment of a deposit of £2, the balance of £200 may remain on mortgage to the State Advances Corporation of New Zealand payable over a period of twenty years by means of quarterly instalments of principal and interest combined, with interest at the rate ruling as at date of selection, subject to a rebate of ½ per cent. for payment of the instalments on or before the fourteenth day after the due date thereof.
A grazing property, situated on the Kaawa—Glen Murray Road, nine miles from Glen Murray Post-office, six miles from Kaawa School, twenty-four miles from Te Kauwhata Railway-station, and one mile and a half from cream-collection depot; access by means of good metalled road. The section comprises steep clay hills broken by gullies, approximately 210 acres being in danthonia pasture (rapidly reverting), balance in natural state of standing bush. This property is not suitable as a separate holding, and should be worked in conjunction with other land.
