Directing Sale of Railway Land near Gisborne under the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1937.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 36·7 perches. Portion of railway land (part Subdivision 3, Matawhero No. 5 West), Block II, Turanganui Survey District, Cook County.
In the Gisborne Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4720, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets (Kippax and Erwin Streets), in the City of Christchurch, of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 49 ft. 6 in., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1937.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty-nine feet six inches, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portions of the said streets shown coloured green on the plan referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-lines of the said streets or on the land fronting the portions of the said streets shown coloured red on the said plan within a distance of forty-three feet from the said centre-lines.
SCHEDULE.
Those proposed streets in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 31 perches, more or less, being portions of Rural Section 299. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95517, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green and red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Albert Street, in the City of Palmerston North, of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1937.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Palmerston North City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of forty feet from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE.
That proposed street, in the Wellington Land District, City of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 24·31 perches, more or less, being portion of Lot 7, D.P. 666, and being part Sections 3 and 4, Hokowhitu N.R., Block XI, Kairanga Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95865, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
