I, John Hamilton Wilson, being the auditor of the Hokitika Savings-bank appointed in terms of section 4 of the Savings-bank Amendment Act, 1923, hereby certify—(1) That I am satisfied that the foregoing balance-sheet has been properly drawn up from the books, accounts, and vouchers of the savings-bank so as to exhibit a true and correct view of the state of the savings-bank's affairs as at the date thereof in accordance with the requirements of the Savings-bank Amendment Act, 1923. (2) That I have verified the cash, investments, securities, and assets of the savings-bank as at the date of the balance-sheet. (3) That I have obtained all the information and explanations I have required. (4) That the manager has certified that all the requirements of the Savings-banks Act, 1908, and amendments, have been complied with.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned BERTRAM CROSSKEY BENNETT and FREDERICK WILLIAM SUTTON, carrying on business as Ironmongers, Warehousemen, and General Storekeepers, at Hawera, under the style or firm of "Bennett and Sutton," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of May, 1937.

The business will be carried on by the said Frederick William Sutton under the style or firm of "Bennett and Sutton" as heretofore, and all debts due to or owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by him.

THE WELLINGTON DIOCESAN BOARD OF TRUSTEES (CHURCH OF ENGLAND) EMPOWERING ACT, 1937.

NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended to be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand in the ensuing session by Herbert Edgar Evans and Ernest Frederic Hadfield, of Wellington, Solicitors, and William Haydon Maclean, Barrister and Solicitor, Taihape (hereinafter called "the promoters"), for leave to bring in a Private Bill the short title of which is as above to effect the following objects and purposes, viz. :—

To authorize the Wellington Diocesan Board of Trustees (Church of England) to amalgamate investments consisting of mortgages of land, Government Inscribed Stock and Bonds, and local bodies' debentures held by it, and future investments of the same nature to be hereafter held by it, in one investment fund, and also to deal with the income derived from the securities so amalgamated in one, Amalgamated Mortgages and Securities Investment Fund Income Account.

Printed copies of the proposed Bill will be deposited in the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders at Parliament House, Wellington, not later than fourteen days after the commencement of the session. A printed copy will also be posted at the Diocesan Office, Mulgrave Street, Wellington, before such last-mentioned date.
