SPECIAL AREA : ALTERATION OF BOUNDARY.

In the matter of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, and in the matter of the special area described in a resolution of the Christchurch Drainage Board dated the 17th day of April, 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37 of the 26th day of April, 1923, and as altered by resolutions of the Christchurch Drainage Board dated the 15th day of February, 1927, the 21st day of June, 1927, the 16th day of April, 1930, the 16th day of February, 1932, the 21st day of March, 1933, the 19th day of November, 1935, the 26th day of May, 1936, and the 25th day of June, 1936, and published in the New Zealand Gazettes Nos. 11, 54, 37, 14, 23, 89, 40, and 46 of the 3rd day of March, 1927, the 28th day of July, 1927, the 22nd day of May, 1930, the 25th day of February, 1932, the 6th day of April, 1933, the 5th day of December, 1935, the 18th day of June, 1936, and the 16th day of July, 1936, respectively, known as the Sewerage Extension Loan Special-rating Area.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in it by the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, section 5, subsection (f), the Christchurch Drainage Board hereby resolves that the boundaries of the said special area, as defined by resolution of the Board dated the 17th day of April, 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37 of the 26th day of April, 1923, and as altered by resolutions of the Christchurch Drainage Board dated the 15th day of February, 1927, the 21st day of June, 1927, the 16th day of April, 1930, the 16th day of February, 1932, the 21st day of March, 1933, the 19th day of November, 1935, the 26th day of May, 1936, and the 25th day of June, 1936, and published in the New Zealand Gazettes Nos. 11, 54, 37, 14, 23, 89, 40, and 46 of the 3rd day of March, 1927, the 28th day of July, 1927, the 22nd day of May, 1930, the 25th day of February, 1932, the 6th day of April, 1933, the 5th day of December, 1935, the 18th day of June, 1936, and the 16th day of July, 1936, respectively (hereinafter referred to as “the special area”), shall be further altered so as to include in the said special area all those areas more particularly described in the schedules hereto: And further resolves that the said areas shall form part of and be included in the Subdivision “B” of the said special area, and the boundaries of the said Subdivision “B” shall be altered accordingly so as to include therein all those areas more particularly described in the schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Christchurch Survey District being part of Rural Section 713, and as contained within the boundary hereinafter described: Commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of Lot 14, D.P. 1069, 3 chains north of Shirley Road, such point being on the boundary of the special area as defined by resolution of the Board bearing date the 17th day of April, 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37, dated the 26th day of April, 1923; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Lots 14, 13, 11, and 9, D.P. 1069, to the northern boundary of the said Lot 9; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said Lot 9, D.P. 1069, to Hills Road; thence southerly along Hills Road to the boundary of the special area; thence south-easterly and easterly along the special area boundary to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point at the corner of Port Hills Road and Wilsons Road South which is on the boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence proceeding in a southerly direction across Port Hills Road and along the western side of Albert Terrace to Lot 1, D.P. 7566; thence in a southerly, westerly, and southerly direction along Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 7566, to the easternmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 10851; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 10851, to the easternmost corner of Lot 74, D.P. 7182; thence along the southern boundary of that lot to Aotea Terrace; thence across that terrace to the south-eastern corner of Lot 12, D.P. 7182; thence along the southern boundary of the said Lot 12 to the south-eastern corner of Lot 126, D.P. 7182; thence by a right line to the north-eastern corner of Lot 22, D.P. 7182, and southerly along the eastern boundaries of Lots 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27, D.P. 7182; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 27 to the junction of Aotea Terrace and Huntsbury Avenue; across Huntsbury Avenue to the south-eastern corner of Lot 47, D.P. 7182; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 47 to Lot 43, D.P. 7182; thence south-westerly, south-easterly, westerly, and north-easterly around Lot 43 aforesaid to Lot 42, D.P. 7182; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Lots 42, 41, 39, and 36, D.P. 7182; thence northerly along the western boundary of the said Lot 36 and its production to a point on the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 10625; thence westerly to the south-western corner of Lot 2 aforesaid; thence in a north-easterly direction to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 10625; thence north-easterly and north-westerly along the western side of Huntsbury Avenue to the southern boundary of Lot 9, D.P. 7182; thence westerly along that boundary to the south-western corner of the said Lot 9; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of that lot to and across a road to the south-western corner of Lot 8, D.P. 7182; thence along the western boundaries of Lot 8 aforesaid and Lots 85, 84, 83, 82, 81, 80, 79, and 78, D.P. 5960, and its production across a road; thence easterly along the northern side of that road to its junction with Port Hills Road; across that road and proceeding in an easterly direction along the existing boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District to the point of commencement.
