Ngaitai Consolidation Scheme confirmed.
In the matter of subsection (6) of section 161 of the Native Land Act, 1931, and in the matter of an application to the Court to prepare a scheme of consolidation in respect of Torere No. 1A No. 1 and other blocks.
NOTICE is hereby given that a scheme of consolidation dealing with Torere 1B 12B and other blocks within the Waiariki Native Land Court District having been prepared by the Native Land Court in accordance with the abovementioned Act and submitted under the seal of the said Court to the Native Minister for his approval, I, Frank Langstone, Acting Native Minister, being satisfied that the scheme so submitted is just and equitable and is in the public interest, do hereby confirm the said scheme of consolidation so submitted.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Lyndon and Waiau Ridings of the County of Amuri taken on the 17th day of June, 1937, on the proposal of the Amuri County Council to borrow the sum of £2,800 for the purchase of land and the erection of additions to the Library Hall, and for the taking over of the Public Hall, Waiau—

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Roxburgh taken on the 10th day of June, 1937, on the proposal of the Roxburgh Borough Council to borrow the sum of £5,500 for the installing of a sewerage and drainage system—

At a poll of the ratepayers of the Otago Central Electric-power District, as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1924, at page 2859 thereof, and the area added to the Otago Central Electric-power District under Proclamation dated the 11th July, 1928, and appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 57 of the 19th July, 1928, at page 2225 thereof, on a proposal to borrow a sum of £7,000, the result of the voting was as follows:—

IT is hereby notified that Wednesday, 11th August, 1937, is to be observed as Arbor Day, and in view of the national importance of tree-planting, local bodies throughout New Zealand are requested to organize suitable celebrations on that date. Where on account of local climatic conditions in any district the 11th August is deemed unsuitable, the local bodies affected are invited to observe some other suitable day in that month.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block V, Campbelltown Hundred, for the Purposes of a Gravel-pit.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a gravel-pit: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Greenhills, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land to be taken: 7 acres 1 rood 9 perches. Being portion of Section 28. Situated in Block V, Campbelltown Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 8/67.) In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95525, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
