ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of July, 1937.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Frank Hubert Courage,
Geoffrey Marmaduke Dixon,
Samuel Frew,
D’Arcy Charrington Gardiner,
Harold Dean Greenwood,
William Albert Parsons,
Ellis Porter Shier,
John Bayntun Starky, and
Arthur Ronald Turnbull

to be the Kowai Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, at three o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Library, Amberley, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—KOWAI DOMAIN.

RESERVE 2066 (in red), Block VIII, Grey Survey District: Area, 214 acres 1 rood, more or less.

Declaring Land in Marlborough Land District to be a Public Reserve.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of June, 1937.

Present:

THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by subsection one of section six of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being of opinion that there is a doubt or uncertainty as to whether the land described in the Schedule hereto was immediately before the commencement of the said Act a public reserve within the meaning of section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the said land is a public reserve for plantation purposes within the meaning of the Act first above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 36 perches, being part of Section 32, Omaka, situated in Block III, Taylor Pass Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by part of said Section 32 proposed to be dedicated for road-widening purposes on New Renwick Road, 200 links, and towards the east, south, and west by other part of Section 32 aforesaid for 487·5 links, 200 links, and 487·5 links, respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/245, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Land declared to be a Public Reserve under the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection four of section twelve of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be a public reserve under the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, for gravel purposes.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 11, S.O. plan 47/17 (Weraroa Experimental Farm), Block I, Waiopehu Survey District: Area, 2 acres 2 roods 18 perches, more or less.

Recreation Reserve in Taranaki Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of June, 1937.

Present:

THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Taranaki Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Huatoki Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Huatoki Domain Board.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

SECTIONS 58 and 68, Huatoki Settlement (Block V, Paritutu Survey District): Area, 17 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less, being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 114, folio 249, Taranaki Register.
