THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

of approximately 32 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., parts Maungatapu Block and railway land, Block II, Maungakawa Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said highway opposite the southern corner of Lot 12, D.P. 13350, being part Maungatapu Block, Block II, Maungakawa Survey District; secondly, commencing at a point on the middle-line hereinbefore described approximately 19·5 chains from the point of commencement of the said middle-line, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 10·5 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., part Maungatapu Block, Blocks II and VI, Maungakawa Survey District, and terminating at a point on Roach’s Road opposite the northern boundary of south-west portion Maungatapu Block (C.T. 226/174), Block VI, Maungakawa Survey District; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96106, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of July, 1937.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks IV and XII, Woodville Survey District—viz., Portion of the No. 30 Napier – Palmerston North State Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Blocks IV and XII, Woodville Survey District—viz., portion of the No. 30 Napier – Palmerston North State Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the existing No. 30 Napier – Palmerston North State Highway opposite Woodville Rural Section 2, Block IV, Woodville Survey District, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 53 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Woodville Rural Section 201, Block IV, and Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 5355, Block XII, Woodville Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said highway opposite Woodville Rural Section 177, Block IV, Woodville Survey District; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Hawke’s Bay Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96248, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of July, 1937.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 0 roods 10·2 perches.
Being portion of Section 9.
Situated in Block II, Cobden Survey District (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 3309.)
In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95175, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a street, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Whangarei as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
