now residing in Wellington, hereby give notice that I
intend applying on the 25th June next to have my name
placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New
Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my
qualification in the office of the Department of Health at
Wellington.

placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New
Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my
qualification in the office of the Department of Health at
Wellington.

I, HARVEY TUARANGI KNIGHT, M.B., Ch.B., N.Z.,
1937, now residing in Christchurch, hereby give notice
that I intend applying on the 7th July next to have my
name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of
New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my
qualification in the office of the Department of Health at
Christchurch.

HASTINGS REGENT THEATRE, LIMITED.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of HASTINGS REGENT THEATRE, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given (pursuant to an order of the
Supreme Court of New Zealand made at Napier on
the 21st day of May, 1937) that an order of the said Court
confirming a reduction of capital of Hastings Regent Theatre,
Limited, in the following terms:-
"That in conformity with the authority vested in the
company by virtue of its articles, the company do reduce its
capital by the sum of £1,500 by the extinguishment of its
1,500 one pound B shares (1,000 only of which have been duly
allotted) and by the cancellation of the liability for payment
therefor of all the persons to whom the same have been
allotted respectively and all other liability in respect of the
whole of the said shares."
And an order of the said Court approving a form of minute
in the following terms:-
"The capital of Hastings Regent Theatre, Limited, hence-
forth is £6,500 divided into 6,500 shares of one pound each
instead of the original capital of £8,000 divided into 8,000
shares of one pound each: 1,500 B shares (of which 1,000
had been issued but on which nothing had been paid) having
been cancelled. At the time of registration of this minute
the sum of one pound has been and is to be deemed paid up
on each of the shares (5,315) that have been allotted."
Has this day been registered with the Registrar of
Companies at Napier.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore
subsisting between HUBERT OLDFIELD and PETER
JOHN COUCHMAN, both of Wellington, Merchants, who carried
on business at Courtenay Place, Wellington, under the style
or firm name of "The Pleating House," has been dissolved
by mutual consent as from the 31st day of May, 1937.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the above-named company by or subject to the
supervision of the Supreme Court was on the 1st day of
June, 1937, presented to the said Court by the Evans Bay
Timber Company, Limited, of Wellington, Timber-merchants:
And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the
Court sitting at Wellington on Friday, the 18th day of June,
1937, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon: And any creditor or
contributory of the said company desirous to support or
oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear
at the time of hearing in person or by counsel for that purpose;
and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor
or contributory of the said company requiring the same by
the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the
same.

the Supreme Court at Wellington, and must be signed by the
person or firm or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be
served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time
to reach the above-named petitioner's address for service not
later than four o'clock in afternoon of the 17th day of June,
1937.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to regulations for
the conduct of elections of members of the Council
of Canterbury University College, that, at the elections held
on the 7th June, 1937, the following were the persons elected
and the respective classes of electors by whom they were
elected:-
Clyde Carr-Elected by Canterbury Members of the
Legislature.
George Mackenzie Lester Lester and Joseph George
Davidson Ward-Elected by Members of the Canterbury
District Court of Convocation.
Walter Cuthbert Colee-Elected by the school teachers of
the Canterbury University District.
Henry Dyke Acland-Elected by the School Committees
of the Canterbury University District.

IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above-named company duly convened
and held on the 7th day of June, 1937, the following special
resolution was duly passed:-
"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
ALBERT ERNEST CUTLER, of Christchurch, Accountant, be
appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up."
