A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 4 acres 3 roods 5.3 perches.
Being portion of Rural Sections 20045 and 20046.
Situated in Block I, Weld Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.P. 2433.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94688, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of May, 1937.

Altering Boundaries of Thames Valley Drainage District, County of Piako.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL:
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of May, 1937.
Present :
THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby alter the boundaries of the Thames Valley Drainage District by including in such district the area of land described in the First Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the boundaries of the said drainage district, with such alteration as herein provided for, shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA INCLUDED IN THAMES VALLEY DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the Thames Valley Drainage District (Gazette, 1933, page 1859), being the northernmost corner of Section 21, Block VII, Waitoa Survey District ; thence in a south-westerly direction generally following the Thames Valley Drainage District along the south-eastern side of the Paeroa-Tahuna Road to the north-western corner of Section 22, Block VII, Waitoa Survey District ; thence in a north-easterly direction generally across the Paeroa-Tahuna Road aforesaid and along the north-western, south-western, again north-western and northern boundaries of Section 17 of aforesaid Block VII, and the western boundaries of Sections 18, 19, and 20, all of aforesaid Block VII ; thence in a southeasterly direction along the north-eastern boundary of Section 20 aforesaid and a right line across the Paeroa-Tahuna Road to the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
THAMES VALLEY DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded towards the north generally by the north-western boundaries of Makumaku 3B, 5E, and 5F Blocks, the
