Administration of Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, in the Egmont County.—(Notice No. Ag. 3455.)

THE following resolution passed by the Egmont County Council on the 9th day of March, 1937, is published in accordance with the provisions of section 7 (2) of the Noxious Weeds Amendment Act, 1934.

RESOLUTION.

THAT in view of the alarming increase in the spread of noxious weeds, the Council assume responsibility for the administration of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, and amendments, and the Council assume responsibility on 1st April, 1937.

Hauraki Plains Rating District.—Penalty on Overdue Rates.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 19th March, 1937.

IN pursuance of section 76 of the Rating Act, 1925, and the Hauraki Plains Act, 1926, the ratepayers within the district constituted by the last-mentioned Act are hereby notified that 10 per cent. additional will be added to all rates for the year ending 31st March, 1937, unpaid on 15th April, 1937.

Rates may be paid at any money-order office on presentation of the original demand, or to the Collector of Rates, Private Bag, Auckland, C. 1.
