a Technical School in the City of Palmerston North.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of
March, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928,
and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for
the purposes of a technical school.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land permitted to be
taken:-

0 0 30·9 Lot 49 and part Lot 56, D.P. 223, being part
Sections 122 and 123, Township of Palmer-
ston ; edged yellow.
0 0 25·1 Part Lot 56, D.P. 223, being part Sections 123
and 124, Township of Palmerston ; edged
red.
Situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District (City of
Palmerston North). (S.O. 333/16.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94476,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day
of March, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the
fourteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
seven, as the day on which shall be held the first election of
representatives of the constituent districts in the Bay of
Islands Electric-power District.

the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of
March, 1937.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct
the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such
land being no longer required for the public work for which
it was acquired.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Kaiwera
Domain.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day
of March, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint
James Burke,
John Clement,
James Brown, jun.,
Robert Miller Pullar,
Robert Leishman McLennan,
John Robertson, jun.,
William Scully, and
John Johnston Wylie
to be the Kaiwera Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Saturday, the eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-seven, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when,
and the Kaiwera Hall as the place where, the first meeting
of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
KAIWERA DOMAIN.-SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 9 acres l rood
4 perches, more or less, being part of Section 40, Block IX,
Waikaka Survey District, and bounded as follows : Towards
the north and east by Section 19, Block IX aforesaid, 1204.95
links and 944·7 links respectively; towards the south by
Section 39, Block IX aforesaid, 857·7 links; towards the
south-west by a public road, 106·4 links; towards the north,
south-west, and south by other part of Section 40, 250 links,
200 links, and 250 links, respectively; towards the south-west
by the aforesaid public road, 699 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly
delineated on plan marked L. and S. 1/561B, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day
of March, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section one hundred and sixty-seven of
the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, doth hereby vary an Order in Council
made on the twenty-ninth day of February, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the Gazette
on the third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-two, at page 424, and affecting Pacroa East 3B I and
other blocks, by excluding therefrom the land described in
the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
BLOCK : Rotomahana-Parekarangi 2A (part). Area, 80 acres
0 roods ll perches. Tarawera Survey District.
