Declaring Areas to be Closely Populated Localities for the Purposes of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, Section 3.
IN terms of section 3 of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby declare the respective areas described in the Schedule hereto to be closely populated localities for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any road, street, or other place to which the public have access therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.
SCHEDULE.
SITUATED within Waikato County—
All that area adjoining Hamilton–Rotorua Main Highway No. 18 from the eastern boundary of Hamilton Borough as now constituted to the junction of the main highway with Paeroa–Hamilton Main Highway No. 17.
All that area adjoining the Great South Road from a point 20 chains north of the bridge over the Mangawara River to a point 35 chains south of the junction of the Great South Road and Taupiri–Morrinsville Main Highway No. 493.
All that area adjoining Taupiri–Morrinsville Main Highway No. 493 from the junction of the main highway with the Great South Road to a point 5 chains east of the bridge over the Komakeraru Stream.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Whakatu Freezing-works and Related Trades Employees’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 1310, situated at Clive, Hawke’s Bay, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

PURSUANT to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 48 of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being the land known as Hyde Settlement, was acquired by the Crown on the 15th day of December, 1936, and became subject to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, as from that date.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—HYDE SETTLEMENT.
All that area containing by admeasurement 234 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Sections 1 to 7, Block V, Sections 1, 4, 7, 8, 11 to 13, Block VI, and Sections 7 to 10, Block VII, Town of Hyde.
