Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94577, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of February, 1937.

Land taken for the Purposes of an Aerodrome in Blocks XIII and XIV, Ashburton Survey District, Ashburton County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of an aerodrome, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Ashburton, and the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 42 acres 3 roods 11 perches.

Being Lot 2, D.P. 9711, being part Rural Section 25108.

Situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Ashburton Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.P. 2426.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94772, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 2 roods.

Being portion of Manutahi No. 2B Block.

Situated in Block XVI, Mangaoporo Survey District (Poverty Bay R.D.). (S.O. 811, brown.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39348, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Land set apart for the Growth and Preservation of Timber under the Land Act, 1908, to be subject to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was permanently set apart for the growth and preservation of timber by Warrant dated the sixteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be declared a reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1926, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, from and after the date hereof, be a scenic reserve under the provisions of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and its amendments.

SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 2, Block VI, Woodland Survey District: Area, 146 acres 3 roods 31 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of February, 1937.

Land set apart as Portion of the National Endowment.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the pieces of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the national-endowment land described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL those areas situated in the Taupo County, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 19 perches, 3 perches, 1 acre 0 roods 27 perches, and 8 perches, more or less, being Sections 41, 42, 43, and 44, respectively, Block VI, Tauhara Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2346/A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon shown edged red. (Auckland plan S.O. 28316.)

SECOND SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area of national-endowment land, being formerly part of Tauhara Middle No. 1 Block, Taupo County, described in the Fourth Schedule of the Land Act, 1908, as an area of land containing 7,957 acres, situated in Blocks II, III, VI, and VII, Tauhara Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of February, 1937.
