Education Reserve in North Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 9th December, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 2.30 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, 20th January, 1937, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE.

Bay of Islands County.—Okokako Parish.

ALLOTMENT 18: Area, 20 acres. Upset annual rental, 15s.
Situated on Okokako Road about twenty miles from Otiria Railway-station by metalled road for nineteen miles, thence by formed clay road. The whole area is easy undulating land covered in gorse and manuka scrub with some rough danthonia feed. Soil is pipe-clay with some stone. Section is watered by swamp which dries up in summer. Suitable as run-off.

Form of lease may be perused and full particulars obtained at the office of the undersigned.

Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Optional Tenures.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 9th December, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on optional tenures under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 25th January, 1937.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Thursday, 28th January, 1937, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Rotorua County.—Horohoro Survey District.

SECTION 13, Block III: Area, 77 acres 2 roods 38 perches. Capital value, £120. Deposit on deferred payments, £5: Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £3 14s. 9d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £2 8s.

Weighted with £150 for improvements, comprising a cottage, clearing and grassing, subdivisional fencing, half-share in boundary-fencing. This sum is payable in cash, or, after payment of a deposit of £5, the balance of £145 over a period of ten years by means of twenty half-yearly instalments of £9 7s. 10d. each. At present a grazing property, but capable of being developed into a dairying proposition. Situated on Clayton Road, five miles from Rotorua Post-office, Railway-station, and the School, and seven miles from Ngongotaha Dairy Factory; access by metalled road. Approximately 15 acres in worn-out pasture, 30 acres in bush land felled and grassed (now reverted), balance in natural state. Ragwort requires attention.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on Pastoral Regulation License under the regulations for the occupation of pastoral lands within the Karamea and Westland Mining Districts issued under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Nelson, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, 12th January, 1937.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Nelson, on Thursday, 14th January, 1937, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.
