PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the lands described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be called or known as the Tihiotonga Development Scheme.

Dredging Operations.
MARINERS are hereby advised that the new dredger “A.C.” is now regularly employed dredging in the harbour and fairway. Moorings are frequently laid out in several directions and it is necessary for masters to exercise care and to reduce speed when navigating in the vicinity of the dredger which will exhibit a black ball on the side on which vessels should pass.
