Post-office where Miners’ Rights may be issued.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the Mining Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the post-office at

Maggie Creek

to be a post-office at which Miners’ Rights may be issued by the Postmaster in charge of such post-office.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 3rd day of December, 1936.

Land set apart in the North Auckland Land District as a Site for a Public School.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by section thirty-three of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, on the recommendation of the Land Board of the district in which are situated any reserves or endowments vested in the Crown by or in pursuance of section two of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1910, or of section twenty-two of the first-mentioned Act, set apart as sites for public schools, secondary schools, or technical schools any part of such reserves or endowments:

And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be set apart as a site for a public school, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a site for a public school (Leigh).


SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

All that area in Rodney County, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 5 perches, more or less, being all the land on plan No. 26630, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being portion of Allotment 82, Village of Leigh, and being portion of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 5, folio 131, Auckland Registry. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/640, deposited in the Head Office of the Lands and Survey Department at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland land plan D.P. 26630.)

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 1st day of December, 1936.
