plan of Oamaru Harbour, substitute 18½ for the 15½
sounding in position 018° 590 ft. from northern end of
breakwater.

NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—EAST COAST.
Napier Harbour : Dredging Operations : Signals.
M ARINERS are hereby advised that dredging operations
are in progress at the Port of Napier, and that between
the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., should the dredges be working,
a vessel approaching the dredges shall give one blast on the
steam whistle and await one or other of the following signals
by steam whistle from the dredge which may be in or near the
fairway.
One short blast : Pass on starboard side of dredge.
Two short blasts : Pass on port side of dredge.
Three short blasts : Pass ahead of dredge.
Four short blasts : Pass astern of dredge.
Between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. and on Sundays and
holidays and at such times as the dredges are not working,
special arrangements regarding vessels entering and leaving
the Breakwater Harbour must be made with the Harbour-
master. It is always advisable, if circumstances permit, for
a vessel's engines to be stopped when passing a dredge.

Notice of Order annulling Adoption under Part IX of the
Native Land Act, 1931.

the 30th September, 1930, and published in New Zealand
Gazette No. 47 of 20th November, 1930, has been annulled
by the Native Land Court under the provisions of the Native
Land Act, 1931.

NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the power
and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public
Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee
of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Henry
Fawcett McIntyre, of the Public Trust Office, Dannevirke,
to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Dannevirke,
during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his
headquarters from any cause, and all previous warrants
appointing any Deputy of the said District Public Trustee
have been revoked.
