Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block XIV, Hamilton Survey District, and Block II, Punju Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the No. 8 Hamilton - Te Kuiti State Highway, Ohauo - Te Awamutu Section.

[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General. A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block XIV, Hamilton Survey District, and Block II, Puniu Survey District—viz., a deviation of the No. 8 Hamilton - Te Kuiti State Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the existing No. 8 Hamilton - Te Kuiti State Highway opposite Lot 1, D.P. 25335, Block XIV, Hamilton Survey District, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 3 miles 76 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following land, &c., viz., Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 25335, Allotment 259, part Allotment 268, and Allotment 268B, Ngaroto Parish, Allotments 51A and 51, Mangapiko Parish, part Lot 1, D.P. 12997, Allotment 50, Mangapiko Parish, Allotment 202, Puniu Parish, Block XIV, Hamilton Survey District, Allotment 49, Mangapiko Parish, Allotment 203, Puniu Parish, Allotment 44, Mangapiko Parish, part Allotment 232, Puniu Parish (D.P. 514), part Lot 1, D.P. 8382, Lot 11, D.P. 20887, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 19273, Lot 2, D.P. 24252, part Allotment 237, Puniu Parish (D.P. 20366), Lots 31 and 9 and part Lot 8, D.P. 20887, Block II, Puniu Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said No. 8 Hamilton - Te Kuiti State Highway approximately 13 chains north of the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 25657; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93975, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of November, 1936.

Change of Name of “Waari Hamlet” to “Sunnyvale,” County of Waitemata.

[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General. A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it is considered expedient that the name of the locality known as “Waari Hamlet,” in the County of Waitemata, should be changed to “Sunnyvale” : Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality known as “Waari Hamlet,” in the County of Waitemata, shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Sunnyvale,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly ; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1936.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in the Ngatimaru Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : l rood 17·9 perches. Being portion of Section 57, Block X, Ngatimaru Survey District. (S.O. plan 7566.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/237, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2780, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1936.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Waioneke Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and subject to the determinations as to the borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising in New Zealand by the Geraldine Borough Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the sum of three thousand eight hundred pounds (£3,800) (hereinafter called “the said loan”) by a loan to be known as “Town Hall and Library Redemption Loan, 1936.”:
