Note.—The salaries and rates of pay as set out shall be subject to the appropriate adjustments in conformity with the provisions of the Finance Act, 1931, the National Expenditure Adjustment Act, 1932, the Finance Act (No. 2), 1934, and the Finance Act, 1935—i.e., a reduction of 10 per centum under the Finance Act, 1931, plus a further reduction of 5 per centum, 10 per centum, or 12½ per centum, as the case may be, under the National Expenditure Adjustment Act, 1932, plus an increase of 5 per centum under the Finance Act (No. 2), 1934, plus a further increase of 7½ per centum under the Finance Act, 1935.
