The section is situated on the Balclutha-Tuapeka Mouth Road and is about six miles from Balclutha and three miles and a half from Pukepito School. The area comprises approximately 5 acres river-flat loam and 23 acres sharp, hill loam containing good natural grass. The section is well watered by Balmoral Creek.
