Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block I, Maramarua Survey District, Franklin County, taken for a Railway.
[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the piece of land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken or acquired for a further portion of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, Auckland to Mercer, and which is no longer required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, be come road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Franklin County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with : 21 perches. Being portion of railway land.
Situated in Block I, Maramarua Survey District (Auckland R.D.), (Koheroa Parish). (S.O. 28339.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 92490, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of October, 1936.

Additional Land taken for the Purposes of a Secondary School in the City of Christchurch subject to certain Interests.
[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a secondary school subject to a certain easement created there-over by Outstanding Deed of Conveyance registered in the Land and Deeds Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 122646; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 24Β·6 perches. Being part Town Section 347, shown on D.P. 7588.
Situated in Block XI, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.), (City of Christchurch).
In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 92254, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of October, 1936.
