In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of LIMBRICKS LIMITED, of Napier, Cycle-dealers (in Liquidation).
N OTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the creditors of the above company will be held at my office situate at No. 28 Dickens Street, Napier, on Friday, the 6th day of November, 1936, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, at which meeting accounts will be made available showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the said company has been disposed of.
I have this day caused notice of the said meeting to be given to the creditors of the said company.

AVONDALE BAKERIES, LIMITED.
IN LIQUIDATION.
P URSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, I hereby give notice that the following special resolution was passed by the above-mentioned company by an entry in its minute-book dated the 5th day of October, 1936:—
“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
And that the following resolution was passed by the creditors of the above-mentioned company on the 14th day of October, 1936:—
“That Mr. JOSEPH DUNSTAN SMITH, of Power Board Building, Queen Street, Auckland, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

THAMES VALLEY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
I N pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Thames Valley Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on the Electricity Loan, 1936, of £75,000 authorized to be raised by the Thames Valley Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing, constructing, and providing electric works as defined in the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, in order to supply and to extend the supply of electricity within the whole of the Thames Valley Electric-power District, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-ninth of a penny (¼d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Thames Valley Electric-power District as defined in the Proclamation proclaiming the said district appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of the 5th January, 1920, at page 12, excepting the area excluded by Proclamation appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of the 6th September, 1925, at page 2318, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 6th day of December in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
