Authorizing the Onehunga Borough Council to Reclaim Land in Manukau Harbour.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of September, 1936.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is provided by section one hundred and sixty-eight of the Harbours Act, 1923 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council, authorize any local authority or Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea areas not exceeding five acres in extent in any case where he considers that the reclamation will not affect navigation and is for the benefit of the public:
And whereas the Onehunga Borough Council (hereinafter called “the Council”) is desirous of reclaiming from the sea certain land in Manukau Harbour, and the said reclamation is of such a nature as aforesaid, and the Council has applied to the Governor-General in Council for an order authorizing the execution of the said harbour-works:
And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor-General in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation, and is for the benefit of the public:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize and empower the Council to reclaim from the sea in Manukau Harbour the area of land coloured blue shown on plan marked M.D. 7492, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, such reclamation to be carried out and constructed in accordance with plan marked M.D. 7492, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Conferring Special Jurisdiction on the Native Land Court.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of October, 1936.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section thirty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby confer upon the Native Land Court jurisdiction to hear and determine, as between Natives, any claim to the ownership or possession of a certain framed portrait in oils of Rewi Maniapoto painted by J. Gaut in the year 1885 or thereabouts, with power and jurisdiction to make such order or orders as the circumstances of the case may require, and to enforce compliance therewith as fully and effectively as if such order or orders had been made within the ordinary jurisdiction of the Court.

Declaring Portions of Road in Block X, Maramarua Survey District, to be Government Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of October, 1936.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Papakura under the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of September, 1936.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 10·54 perches. Portion of railway land (part of Allotment 209 of Section 11, Village of Papakura), Block IV, Drury Survey District, Papakura Town District. (S.O. 28639, blue.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4350, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the Gazette of the fourth day of December of that year, and doth hereby appoint
