NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, the Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Act, 1929, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Acts amending the same respectively.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the New Plymouth Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and of all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work—namely, the establishment of an aerodrome by the provision of additions and extensions to the Council's existing aerodrome —and that for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule require to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council, situate in the Municipal Buildings, Liardet Street, New Plymouth, and such plan is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours : All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said lands are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the New Plymouth Borough Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
SCHEDULE.
First, all that piece of land situate in the Land Registration District of Taranaki, containing one hundred and eight acres three roods thirty-seven perches (108 acres 3 roods 37 perches), be the same a little more or less, being parts of Sections seventy-three (73), seventy-seven (77), seventy-eight B (78B), and seventy-nine (79) on the public maps of the Waitara West District (Blocks II and III, Paritutu Survey District), and being parts of the land comprised in Certificates of Title, Volume 139, folio 85, Volume 22, folio 101, and Volume 76, folio 211 (Taranaki Registry).
Secondly, all that piece of land situate as aforesaid containing one acre three roods twenty-one decimal five perches (1 acre 3 roods 21·5 perches), be the same a little more or less, being part of the bed of the Mangateranoho Stream adjoining the land firstly hereinbefore described.
Thirdly, all that piece of land situate as aforesaid containing seven acres one rood thirty-seven perches (7 acres 1 rood 37 perches), be the same a little more or less, being part of the Kaipakopako No. 1 Block on the public maps of the Waitara West District (Block III, Paritutu Survey District), and being part of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 139, folio 230 (Taranaki Registry).
Fourthly, all that piece of land situate as aforesaid containing one acre three roods twenty-one decimal five perches (1 acre 3 roods 21·5 perches), be the same a little more or less, being part of the bed of the Mangateranoho Stream adjoining the land thirdly hereinbefore described.

THE KUKU CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE KUKU CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at Ohau on the 9th day of September, 1936, the following special resolutions were passed :—
(a) That for the purpose of carrying into effect the reconstruction proposals of the Executive Commission of Agriculture, the company go into voluntary liquidation.
(b) That Mr. G. DACRE HAMILTON, of Levin, be appointed liquidator.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Wellington District (Wellington Registry).
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of W. LITTLEJOHN AND SON, LIMITED, a company under the said Act.
NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court made at Wellington on Friday, the 18th day of September, 1936, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from fourteen thousand pounds (£14,000) to nine thousand three hundred and thirty-three pounds six shillings and eightpence (£9,333 6s. 8d.), and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned statute, were registered by the Registrar of Companies at Wellington on Friday, the 18th day of September, 1936 ; and further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following :—
“The capital of the company henceforth is £9,333 6s. 8d. divided into 14,000 shares of 13s. 4d. each instead of the former capital of £14,000 divided into 14,000 shares of £1 each. At the date of registration of this minute all the said shares have been issued and are fully paid up.”

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes to execute certain public works—to wit, the reservation of certain pieces of land for the purposes of sandpits—and for which purpose the following land requires to be taken by the Raglan County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, sections 22 and 23, that is to say :—
All that piece of land containing 3 acres 2 roods 3 perches, more or less, being portion Allotments 240A and 240B No. 1, situate in Block VIII, Komakarau Parish, Newcastle Survey District.
A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the offices of the Raglan County Council, Waingaro Road, Ngaruawahia. All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works and to the taking of such lands and to send such writing to the Clerk of the Raglan County Council within forty days of the first publication of this notice.
