CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Lands in North Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, and Nelson Land Districts forfeited.

Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 31st August, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Land Boards of the respective land districts, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 1st September, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Friday, 23rd October, 1936.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Thursday, 29th October, 1936, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.

Hauraki Plains County.—Piako Survey District.

(Exempt from payment of rent for five years.†)

SECTION 80, Block IV: Area, 74 acres 0 roods 14 perches. Capital value, £540*; half-yearly rent, £10 16s.

Section 83, Block IV: Area, 88 acres 3 roods 23 perches. Capital value, £580*; half-yearly rent, £11 12s.

*Improvements included in the capital values are as follows:—

Section 83: Clearing and grassing and drains, £224.

Dairying properties, situated on Maukoro Canal Road, two miles and a half from Waitakaruru Post-office, two miles from the School and Dairy Factory, and sixteen miles from Kopu Railway-station. Access is partly by means of formed
