Tenders for Inland Mail-service Contracts.--North Island : Gisborne, Napier, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Wanganui, and Wellington Postal Districts, 1937-39.

Wellington, 26th August, 1936.
SEALED tenders will be received at the Chief Post-offices, Gisborne, Napier, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Wanganui, and Wellington, until noon on Tuesday, the 22nd September, 1936, for the conveyance of mails between the undermentioned places for a period of three years from the 1st January, 1937.
POSTAL DISTRICT OF GISBORNE.

Gisborne, Makaraka, and Patutahi, daily.

Gisborne Chief Post-office, Railway-station, and wharves, delivery of postmen's bags and Mangapapa and delivery of parcels and packets which may be handed to contractor for delivery within boundaries of post- men's deliveries, as required.

Gisborne, Matawai, Opatu Junction, Oponae, Opotiki, Waiotahi, Kutarere, Nukuhou North, Waimana, Taneatua, and Taneatua Railway-station, daily.

Gisborne, Tamarau, Whangara, Tolaga Bay, Arero, Tokomaru Bay, Te Puia Springs, Aorangi, Waitakaro, Ruatoria, Tikitiki, and Te Araroa, daily. (Alternative to No. 5.)

Gisborne, Tamarau, Whangara, Tolaga Bay, Arero, Tokomaru Bay, Te Puia Springs, Waipiro Bay, thence along Kopuaroa Road to Main Road, Aorangi, Waitakarao, Ruatoria, Tikitiki, and Te Araroa (on journey southwards contractor not to divert to Waipiro Bay), daily. (Alternative to Nos. 4 and 26.)
