Declaring a Portion of Railway Land at Blenheim to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 2 roods 10 perches.
Portion of railway land (part Sections 577, 578, and 581),
Borough of Blenheim. (S.O. 981, blue.)
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 19833, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of June, 1936.

Additional Land taken for the Purposes of Public Buildings of the General Government, in the City of Wellington.
[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of public buildings; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of June, 1936.
