Arthur Pass National Park.—Board of Control appointed.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of June, 1936.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and published in the Gazette of the first day of August of that year, certain areas in the Canterbury and Westland Land Districts were declared to be a national park under and subject to the provisions of Part III of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and named the Arthur Pass National Park:
And whereas by section eight of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1930, and by Orders in Council dated the third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the Gazette of the fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and the fourteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, respectively, certain further areas in the Canterbury Land District were added to the said Arthur Pass National Park:
And whereas by an Order in Council dated the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the Gazette of the seventeenth day of that month, a Board was appointed to control the said park for a term of three years, and it is desirable that a Board should now be appointed to have the control and management for a further term:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section seventy-three of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Assigning Industrial Districts to Commissioner under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and its Amendments.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of June, 1936.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS Michael John Reardon has been duly appointed a Conciliation Commissioner for the purposes of Part II of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby assign, as from the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, for the purposes of the said Act, to the said Conciliation Commissioner, the following industrial districts—viz., Northern, Taranaki, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson, Westland, Canterbury, and Otago and Southland.

Declaring Public Highways to be Main Highways.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of June, 1936.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section three of the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that on and after the date of this Order in Council the public highways mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be main highways within the meaning and for the purposes of the Main Highways Act, 1922.
SCHEDULE.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT NO. 6.
Te Maire — Mangaohutu.—All that road or portion of road in the Taumarunui County commencing at its junction with the Kokakoriki Road in the Public Domain, Block III, Retaruke Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction by way of the Wanganui Valley Road and terminating at its junction with the Mangaohutu Road, being a distance of 6 miles 40 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan numbered P.W.D. 86749, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT NO. 14.
Summit Highway.—All that road or portion of road in the Sumner Borough and the Mount Herbert and Heathcote Counties commencing at its junction with the Christchurch-Motukarara via Sumner and Lyttelton Highway near Evans Pass, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly and then south-westerly direction by way of Summit Road and terminating at its junction with the Christchurch-Governor’s Bay Main Highway near Dyer’s Pass, being a distance of 9 miles 36 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan numbered P.W.D. 92367, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Tapui under the Public Works Act, 1928.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of June, 1936.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 3 acres 1 rood 20·5 perches.
Part of railway land (parts of Sections 1 and 13), Block I, Maruwenua Survey District, Waitaki County. (S.O. 4B.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4094, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
