Commissioner of the Supreme Court appointed.
NOTICE.
ROY JAMES McARTHUR, Esquire, of 46 Queen Street,
Melbourne, Victoria, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court
of Victoria, has this day been appointed by the Honourable
John Ranken Reed, Acting Chief Justice of New Zealand, a
Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in
Victoria under the 47th section of the Judicature Act, 1908,
for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths,
affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

THE following notice, received from the Mayor, Pahiatua
Borough Council, is published in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926.

PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Cemetery Loan, 1935, £850.
In pursuance of the provisions of section 13 (1) of the Local
Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I have to advise you that on the
20th day of May, 1936, a proposal was submitted by the
Pahiatua Borough Council to the ratepayers of the Borough
of Pahiatua to raise a special loan of £850 (eight hundred
and fifty pounds) for the purpose of purchasing Sections 77
and 78, Pahiatua Village Settlement, Block XVIII, Mangahao
Survey District, being 9 acres 3 roods 31 perches in area,
more or less, as an extension of the existing cemetery and to
effect improvements thereto (surveying, laying out in lots,
erecting of morgue, &c.), and that the number of votes
recorded respectively for and against the proposal were as
follows:

Classification of Roads in Matamata County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me
by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy
Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister
of Transport, do hereby revoke the Warrants described in
the First Schedule hereto so far as they relate to the classification of roads in the Matamata County, and do hereby
declare that the roads described in the Second Schedule
hereto and situated in Matamata County shall belong to the
respective classes of roads shown in the said Second Schedule.
