WAİKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.

SPECIAL ORDER MAKING CONSOLIDATED SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by section 7 of the Local Authorities Interest
Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act, 1934,
the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking
fund, and other charges (or, as the case may be, instalment
of principal and interest) on the non-convertible securities
issued by the Waikato County Council in respect of the loans
specified in the schedule hereto, the said Waikato County
Council hereby makes and levies a consolidated special rate
upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value)
of all rateable property in the County of Waikato ; such
rate shall be made and levied on a differential basis for each
of the several ridings of the said county as follows :—

“ (a) On all rateable property in the Whangamarino
Riding, a special rate of 0·1764 of a penny in the
pound.

“ (b) On all rateable property in the Huntly Riding, a
special rate of 0·198 of a penny in the pound.

“ (c) On all rateable property in the Taupiri Riding, a
special rate of 0·0685 of a penny in the pound.

“ (d) On all rateable property in the Rototuna Riding, a
special rate of 0·0296 of a penny in the pound.

“ (e) On all rateable property in the Ruakura Riding, a
special rate of 0·0296 of a penny in the pound.

“ (f) On all rateable property in the Tamahere Riding, a
special rate of 0·0417 of a penny in the pound.

“ (g) On all rateable property in the Cambridge Riding, a
special rate of 0·0296 of a penny in the pound.

“ Such special rate shall be in lieu of the several special
rates specified in the schedule hereto made and levied in
respect of the said loans, and shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of the said securities and be payable
yearly on the 17th day of August in each and every year
until the last maturity date of such securities, being the
1st day of September, 1969, or until all such securities are
fully paid off.”

SCHEDULE.

I hereby certify that the foregoing special order was duly
made at a special meeting of the Waikato County Council
held on the 21st day of April, 1936, and confirmed at an
ordinary meeting of the said Council held on the 27th day
of May, 1936, and that notice of such special order was
published in the Waikato Times newspaper on the 1st, 8th,
15th, and 22nd May, 1936.

matter of THE NEW QUEENS THEATRE, LIMITED (in
Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above-named company duly convened
and held on the 25th day of May, 1936, the following special
resolution was duly passed :—

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
W. E. C. REID AND COMPANY, Public Accountants, Dunedin,
be appointed liquidators for the purpose of such winding up.”
