Declaring a Portion of Railway Land at St. Andrews to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor - General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 acre 0 roods 9 perches.

Portion of railway land (part Reserve 634), Block IV, Patiti Survey District, Waimate County. (S.O. S.P. 2411.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4074, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this llth day of May, 1936.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Quarry in Block IX, Te Mata Survey District, Hawke's Bay County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a quarry, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hawke's Bay as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 acres 1 rood 2-7 perches.

Being portion of Poukawa N.R. No. 9g.

Situated in Block IX, Te Mata Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1104, green.)

In the Hawke's Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91625, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of March, 1936.
