Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in Block XIV, Momahaki Survey District, Patea County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Wanganui as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 0 roods 25·7 perches.
Being portion of Te Iringa Native Reserve.
Situated in Block XIV, Momahaki Survey District. (S.O. 3116.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91603, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of April, 1936.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 46, set apart by Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and gazetted on the second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 510 acres, more or less, being part of Provisional State Forest No. 46, Blocks X and XII, Mokoreta Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the bush-edge in line with the south-eastern boundary of the eastern part of S.A. 642c; thence in a north-westerly direction generally along the bush-edge to its intersection with the north-western boundary of Section 6, Block XII, Mokoreta Survey District; thence in a north-easterly direction along the aforesaid north-western boundary of the said Section 6 to the northernmost corner thereof; thence in a south-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid Section 6 to a point in line with the north-western boundary of S.A. 642c; thence by a right line to and along the aforesaid north-western boundary of S.A. 642c to the north-western corner thereof; thence in a south-easterly direction generally along the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid S.A. 642c to the north-eastern corner thereof; thence in a south-westerly direction along the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid S.A. 642c and
S.A. 642b and that line produced to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked 10/101/1a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1936.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 10 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less, being part Provisional State Forest No. 8 (Gazette, 1920, page 2116), to be known as Section 7, Block IV, Aongatete Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan No. 10/92/77A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 18797.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1936.

Settlement Land in Otago Land District proclaimed to be Ordinary Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section forty-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, as amended by subsection one of section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1935, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any settlement land to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924;
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is settlement land within the meaning of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section forty-nine, amended as aforesaid, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
