Additional Land in Borough of Lower Hutt set apart for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be set apart for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication):
And whereas by section twenty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is enacted that whenever any Crown land, public reserve, or public domain is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor-General may at any time, by Proclamation, set the same apart for such public work without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect of the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purpose:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Lower Hutt Valley duplication of the Wellington-Napier Railway; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 30·97 perches. Being Section 28, D.P. 8193, Block LI, Hutt Valley Settlement.
Situated in Hutt Registration District, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, Borough of Lower Hutt. (S.O. 169/7.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 3911, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of April, 1936.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks V and IX, Mount Robinson Survey District—viz., the Whirokino Deviation of the Wellington-Auckland via Taranaki Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Blocks V and IX, Mount Robinson Survey District—viz., the Whirokino Deviation of the Wellington-Auckland via Taranaki Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the Wellington-Auckland via Taranaki Main Highway, opposite part Block VI, Te Awahou Block, Block IX, Mount Robinson Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 65 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., part Block VI, Te Awahou Block, and part Section 429, Block IX, Mount Robinson Survey District, part Section 429, and Sections 428 and 425, Block V, Mount Robinson Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said main highway on the western boundary of the said Section 425, Block V, Mount Robinson Survey District;
Commencing again at a point on the said main highway, opposite Section 212, Block V, Mount Robinson Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 31 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over, the following lands, &c., viz., parts Paretiao Block, Block V, Mount Robinson Survey District, and terminating at a point on the southern boundary of the Foxton Borough, opposite Johnston Street, Foxton;
including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Wellington Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91957, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of April, 1936.
