Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four
hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do
hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in
the Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of
March, 1936.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Waireia A and D
Blocks, Block II, Hokianga, and Block XV, Whangape
Survey Districts, North Auckland Land District, to be a
Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on
the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-one, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section
thirteen of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land
Claims Adjustment Act, 1922 :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road-line should be pro-
claimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has
been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section
four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931 :
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention
to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given
by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district
concerned in terms of subsection two of section four hundred
and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line
should be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,

Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public
Road.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on
the thirtieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-one, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section
forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road-line should be pro-
claimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has
