CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Education Reserve in Taranaki Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

District Lands and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 24th March, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease (term, thirty-three years) under the Education Reserves Act, 1928; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 20th April, 1936.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, 22nd April, 1936, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.

Stratford County.—Ngaere Survey District.

Sections 111 and 130, and Subdivision 2 of Section 112, Block II: Area, 105 acres 3 roods 14 perches. Capital value, £1,500; half-yearly rent, £30.

Weighted with £1,230 for improvements, comprising dwelling, cow-byre, water-supply, fencing, felling and grassing. This sum is payable by £100 cash, balance of £1,130 to remain on instalment-mortgage under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act.

A dairying property, situated on the Beaconsfield Road, two miles from Wharehuia School and Dairy Factory, and three miles by metalled road from Stratford Post-office, Railway-station, and Saleyards. Level to undulating land, the soil being a loam resting on clay formation; watered by streams. Subdivided into eight paddocks. There is some ragwort in pastures which, however, should be easily controlled by proper farming.

Form of lease may be perused and any further particulars required may be obtained at the office of the undersigned.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 27th April, 1936.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, 29th April, 1936, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.
