Education Board of the District of Hawke’s Bay.

IN accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, it is hereby notified that for the election of a member to fill an extraordinary vacancy in the North Ward of the Rural Area caused by the death of the late Mr. William Frazer, the result of the poll held on the 19th day of February, 1936, was as follows :—

No nominations were received for the election of a member to fill an extraordinary vacancy in the Middle Ward of the Rural Area caused by the resignation of the Rev. Frederick Ledger Frost. In accordance with the provisions of section 18 of the Education Act, 1914, the Board elected Charles Henry Critchley to fill the vacancy.

I hereby declare the said Edward Harold Baker and Charles Henry Critchley to have been duly elected as members of the Board.
