THE WESTERN SIDE OF PORTION OF PETER STREET, IN THE CITY OF DUNEDIN, EXEMPTED FROM THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 128 OF THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928, SUBJECT TO A CONDITION AS TO THE BUILDING-LINE.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of March, 1936.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, viz.:β
"That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to portion of the western side of Peter Street, in the said City of Dunedin, where such portion of street abuts on Lot 13, Deeds Plan 93, being part Section 20, Block VI, Town District, as the said portion of street is more particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto and is thereon coloured brown and edged with red to its centre-line";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of the portion of Peter Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Peter Street, fronting Lot 13, Deeds Plan 93, being part Section 20, Block VI, Town District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91381, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

THE SOUTH-WESTERN SIDE OF PORTIONS OF DICKSON'S ROAD, IN THE COUNTY OF TAIERI, EXEMPTED FROM THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 128 OF THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928, SUBJECT TO A CONDITION AS TO THE BUILDING-LINE.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Taieri County Council on the seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, viz.:β
"The Taieri County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Taieri, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the district road known as Dickson's Road, abutting on the subdivision of part of Section 8, Block XXVIII, Waihola Survey District, as the same is more particularly delineated on the tracing attached hereto";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portions of Dickson's Road (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portions of road.
SCHEDULE.
THE south-western side of all those portions of road, situated in the Otago Land District, Taieri County, known as Dickson's Road, fronting parts Section 8, Block XXVIII, Waihola Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91507, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

VARIATION OF ORDER IN COUNCIL PROHIBITING ALIENATION OF CERTAIN NATIVE LANDS OR LANDS OWNED BY NATIVES.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of March, 1936.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section one hundred and sixty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby vary an Order in Council made on the fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the Gazette on the seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at page 735, and affecting Hauturu East B 2, Section 2A 1A, and other blocks by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SPECIAL PROVISION WITH RESPECT TO CANADIAN GEESE IN PORTION OF THE NORTH CANTERBURY ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that Canadian geese (Branta Canadensis) shall be deemed to be included in the Second Schedule of the said Act with respect to that portion of the North Canterbury Acclimatization District lying to the east of the main Christchurch-Dunedin Railway line:
And I do hereby further declare that this Warrant shall come into force on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, and shall expire on the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six; and from and after the aforesaid date of expiry, Canadian geese shall cease to be included in the Second Schedule of the said Act with respect to the said area.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 10th day of March, 1936.
