Public Trust Office.—Appointment of Agent at Te Puke.
IT is notified for public information that Mr. Joseph Thomas Eccleton has been appointed to the position of Agent of the Public Trust Office at Te Puke.
Dated at Wellington, this 24th day of February, 1936.

Notice that Land is vested in the Public Trustee pursuant to Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908.
WHEREAS by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 1st day of August, 1935, and in the New Zealand Herald on the 19th day of August, 1935, the 26th day of August, 1935, and the 2nd day of September, 1935, the Public Trustee did call upon the owner of all that parcel of land containing 40 acres, more or less, being south-east part Allotment 64, Parish of Aotea (Great Barrier Island): Bounded on the east by the high-water mark of the sea; on the south-east by Allotment 63, 6080 links; on the south-west by a road 100 links wide, 440 links; and on the north-west by other part of Allotment 64, 7060 links; and being all of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 500, folio 62 (Auckland Registry), in the name of George Walters, of Auckland, Clerk, within six months of the date of publication of the said notice in the New Zealand Gazette to establish his title to the said land to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee, and stated in such notice that if the said owner did not do so the Public Trustee would exercise with regard to the said land all the powers and authorities granted to the Public Trustee in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments: And whereas the owner of the said land has not established his title thereto: And whereas the value of the said land is less than £500:
Now, the Public Trustee gives notice pursuant to the provisions of section 67 (d) of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, as amended by the provisions of section 38 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, that the said land is vested in the Public Trustee and will be administered under the provisions of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

CROWN LANDS NOTICE.
Education Reserve in Wellington Land District for Lease by Public Auction.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 26th February, 1936.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, at 2.30 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, 1st April, 1936, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE.
Pahiatua County.—Makuri Survey District.
SECTION 61, Block XII: Area, 320 acres. Upset annual rent, £50.
This section is situated twelve miles from Pahiatua Railway-station by metalled road with frontage to the main Pahiatua-Makuri Road. The whole area consists of hilly land which has all been felled and grassed, but fern is now making its appearance. Soil is of a fair quality resting on clay and papa formation; section is watered by small streams. Area is quite good sheep-grazing country. Improvements consist of felling and grassing and 130 chains of boundary-fencing; no buildings.
Term of lease, twenty-one years, with perpetual right of renewal at revaluation. Possession will be given on day of sale.
Form of lease may be perused and full particulars obtained from the undersigned.
