a tributary of the Tararu Creek, bounded as appears on the survey plan filed in the Warden's Office at Thames under No. S 270, and held by Sylvia Mines Development, Limited, under Special Quartz Claim License No. 9156, dated the sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, shall be distributed in the proportions of one-eighth thereof to the Thames Borough Council and seven-eighths to the Thames County Council: Provided that these presents shall not affect the distribution pursuant to the said Act of the remaining half of the gold duty aforesaid.

Captain (local Major) A. J. Edney, R.E., ceases to be attached to the General Staff for Engineer Duties, but retains the appointment of Staff Officer (Fortifications and Works). Dated 10th February, 1936.

Captain W. G. Gentry, N.Z.S.C., having returned to the Dominion after completing a tour of instruction in England, ceases to be seconded, and is appointed Staff Officer (Engineers), G.H.Q., Wellington. Dated 10th February, 1936.

ROYAL N.Z. AIR FORCE.

Frederick Lionel Truman to be Flying Officer, and is posted to Wigram Aerodrome, Sockburn, Christchurch. Dated 10th February, 1936.

THE AUCKLAND (EAST COAST) MOUNTED RIFLES.

The undermentioned officers are transferred to the Waikato Mounted Rifles. Dated 5th February, 1936:—
