✨ Government Appointments and Resignations
IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed
William Thomas Cottee, of Waimate,
to be an officer for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned Act, to carry out his duties generally throughout New Zealand.

Controlling Local Authorities appointed under Section 63 of the Licensing Act, 1908.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section 63 of the Licensing Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint the local authorities named in the Schedule hereunder to be controlling local authorities under the said Act, to have authority for the purposes of the said Act throughout the licensing districts respectively named in the said Schedule opposite the name of each such local authority respectively, and to make all necessary appointments and to do all things required for the conduct of elections of Licensing Committees, and for the general administration of the said Act within such licensing districts respectively.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Gore, taken on the 23rd day of January, 1936, on the proposal of the Gore Borough Council to borrow the sum of six thousand pounds (£6,000) for kerbing and channelling and constructing concrete footpaths-
