Classification of Road in Rotorua County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in the Rotorua County, shall belong to the class of road shown in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ROTORUA COUNTY.
ROAD classified in Class Four: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 4½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons :—
Rotowhero–Waikaremoana Road (all that portion within Rotorua County).

Authorizing the Laying-off of Road of less Width than 66 ft.
WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of Town of Port Motueka Extension No. 2, affecting part Section 144 N.R., Motueka Original District, Block IV, Motueka Survey District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that the proposed road shown therein should be of the width of 66 ft. :
Now, therefore, I, Frank Langstone, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of such road of a width of not less than 50 ft. : Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.
Given under my hand, this 31st day of January, 1936.

Experimental Radio Beacon established at Tiri Tiri Matangi Lighthouse.
Position: Lat., 36° 36′ S.; long., 174° 54′ E. (approx.).
Details: An experimental radio beacon has been established from which signals will, on request, be transmitted during clear or foggy weather.
Masters requiring signals should direct their request to the Harbourmaster, Auckland, stating which of the following times the signals should begin and for what period the signals are required.
Signals are transmitted for a period of one hour or longer, if required, and commence at the hour or 15, 30, and 45 minutes past. They are given continuously for five minutes, and consist of repetitions of the following group:—
ZLOB (— — . . . — . . — — — . . . ) twice.
Dash (———) about 2 seconds.
B (—) 4 times.
2 dashes (——— ———) about 2 seconds each.
Wave 300 kc./s. (1000 m.). Type, A2. Power, 25 m.-a.
The Post and Telegraph Department charge 5s. for the request message when it is made by radio.

The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act, 1932.—Notice of Cancellation of Award.
In the matter of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and its amendments, and in the matter of an industrial dispute between the Auckland Dairy Employees’ Industrial Union of Workers, applicant, and Ambury’s Ltd. and others, respondents.
WHEREAS the Conciliation Commissioner, by notice under his hand dated the 20th day of January, 1936, has notified the Clerk of Awards that a settlement of the above-mentioned dispute has not been arrived at by the Council of Conciliation appointed for the hearing thereof, notice is hereby given that in accordance with section 7 (4) of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act, 1932, the Auckland (20-miles radius) Milk-roundsmen’s Award, dated 10th June, 1933, and published in Book of Awards, Volume XXXIII, page 566, is deemed to be cancelled, and ceases to be in force on the expiration of one month from the date of the Commissioner’s notification to the Clerk of Awards as aforesaid.
