A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Arapuni Scheme, Edgcumbe Substation, lineman’s cottage-site), and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.
Being portion of Allotment 54a, Matata Parish.

Situated in Block VII, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28210.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 90599, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of November, 1935.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Mangahao Scheme, Paraparaumu Substation-site); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block V, Tahoraiti Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Napier-Wellington via Wairarapa Main Highway, Woodville County Division.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block V, Tahoraiti Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Napier-Wellington via Wairarapa Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the Napier-Wellington via Wairarapa Main Highway opposite the north-eastern corner of Lot 6, D.P. 2001, being part Oringi-Waiaruhe No. 2 Block, Block V, Tahoraiti Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 1 mile 69 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Lots 6 and 7, D.P. 2001, Lot 8, D.P. 3884, Railway land, Lot 1, D.P. 4122, and Lot 2, D.P. 3675, being all parts Oringi-Waiaruhe No. 2 Block, Block V, Tahoraiti Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said Napier-Wellington via Wairarapa Main Highway opposite the said Lot 2, D.P. 3675, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Hawke’s Bay Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91136 (two sheets), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of December, 1935.

Altering Boundaries of Thames Valley Drainage District, Counties of Hauraki Plains, Piako, and Matamata.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of December, 1935.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby alter the boundaries of the Thames Valley Drainage District by including in such district the area of land described in the First Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the boundaries of the said drainage district, with such alteration as herein provided for, shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

AREA INCLUDED IN THAMES VALLEY DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded on the north-west, north, and east by the Thames Valley Drainage District as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1933, page 1850, from the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, as shown on plan 64, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, to the south-eastern corner of Section 105, Matamata Settlement, Block VI, Tapapa Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundary of the Auckland-Rotorua Railway to the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 99, Block VI, Tapapa Survey District; thence south-westerly along the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 99, Block VI, and Section 98, Block IX, Tapapa Survey District, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence south-westerly along the road forming the south-eastern
