EGMONT COUNTY COUNCIL.
I, WALTER CLEMENT GUY GREEN, Chairman of the
Egmont County Council, do hereby certify that
pursuant to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 9 of
the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Con-
version Act, 1932–33, a resolution was duly passed at a special
meeting of the Egmont County Council held on the 26th day
of October, 1935, and confirmed on the 12th day of November,
1935, providing for the issue under Part II of that Act of
new securities in conversion of the existing securities in respect
of the loans set forth in the First Schedule to the Egmont
County Loans Conversion Order, 1935, as published in the
New Zealand Gazette No. 73 of the 24th October, 1935, at
page 2935.

EGMONT COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest
Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the
Egmont County Loans Conversion Order, 1935, the Egmont
County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking
fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to
be issued by the Egmont County Council under the above-
mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities
issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to
that Order, the said Egmont County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of 0·85357 of one penny in the pound
upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all
rateable property of the district, and that such special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of
such securities and be payable yearly on the 30th day of
November in each and every year until the last maturity date
of such securities, being the 30th day of November, 1963, or
until all such securities are fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of and a
correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of the
Egmont County Council at a meeting held on the 12th
day of November, 1935.

THE C.E.M.S. CLUB, ELTHAM, INCORPORATED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of THE C.E.M.S. CLUB, ELTHAM, INCORPORATED.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of members of the
above-named club duly convened and held at the
registered office of the club, Bridge Street, Eltham, on
Tuesday, the nineteenth day of February, 1935, the following
extraordinary resolutions were duly passed :—
(a) “ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this
meeting that the C.E.M.S. Club, Eltham, Incorporated,
cannot by reason of its liabilities continue, and that it is
advisable to wind up the same and accordingly that the
C.E.M.S. Club, Eltham, Incorporated, be wound up
voluntarily.”
(b) “ That Messrs. J. Bootten, H. P. Best, J. W. Harrison,
T. C. Stanners, and A. Tiplady be appointed liquidators of the
club.”
