IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, James Alexander Young, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the appointments of
James Bryt Jordan, of Auckland, and
R. H. Katipa, of Pekanui,
as Rangers under the said Act for the Auckland Acclimatization District.

to be Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Levin, as from the 19th day of November, 1935.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Native Affairs, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is no longer subject to the provisions of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931, and is excluded from the Heretaunga Development Scheme.

THE following land, situate in Heretaunga Survey District, in the Ikaroa Native Land Court District : Waiohiki 1d 2b Section 11. Area, 31 acres 1 rood 32 perches.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I declare the result of the poll to borrow the sum of £10,000, held on 15th November, 1935, was as follows :—

As the total number of valid votes in favour of the proposal exceeds three-fifths of the total number of valid votes recorded, I declare the proposal carried.

LYTTELTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Lyttelton was taken on the 20th day of November, 1935, on the proposal of the said Council to borrow the sum of £3,500 for the purpose of improving the borough water-supply by extending the mains in the various parts of the borough and installing new pumping plant at Heathcote and Exeter Street pumping-stations ; the number of votes recorded were as follows :—
For the proposal .. .. .. 268 Votes.
Against the proposal .. .. .. 34
Informal .. .. .. 2
I therefore declare the said proposal to be carried.

Classification of Road in Marlborough County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Marlborough County Council’s proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Marlborough County.
SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH COUNTY.
ROAD classified in Class Three : Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons :—
Blenheim–Christchurch via Parnassus Main Highway No. 101 (all that portion within Marlborough County known as the Dashwood Pass Deviation).
