The charges for the conveyance of benzine, kerosene, and similar oils will be as follow :—

Christchurch or Papanui ..	Stations from Hatfield to Methven (inclusive)	25s. per ton.
Christchurch, Hornby, Papanui, and intermediate stations	Chertsey .. ..	25s. per ton, including delivery at Chertsey within the area determined by the Department in that behalf. Small lots pro rata. Minimum charges as per Reg. 36, para. 2, Goods—Local Rates—Scale of Charges.
Christchurch and stations to Hornby, inclusive	Ashburton .. ..	28s. per ton except as otherwise provided, including delivery at Ashburton or Tinwald within the areas as determined by the Department in that behalf.
	Ashburton .. ..	25s. 6d. per ton, including delivery to private sidings at Ashburton.
Middleton .. ..	Rangiora .. ..	11s. 2d. per ton, including delivery at Rangiora within the area as determined by the Department in that behalf.

This rate is applicable to benzine in tank-wagons only, and such tank-wagons must be loaded to their full carrying-capacity.

† Small lots, including collection at Timaru and delivery at Waimate, will be charged at the following small-lots scale instead of the small-lots scale, Regulation 71, General Scale of Charges.
