Wellington Fruit, canned, packed 45s. per ton.
Wellington or Kaiwarra Salted sheep-skins, loose 60s. 2d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 3 tons per L or Lb wagon, 4 tons per La wagon. Owners to load and unload.
Hastings Waingawa Fat and tallow 35s. per ton. Minimum, quantity, 4 tons per four-wheeled wagon.
Otane or Waipawa Classes A, B, C, and D 21s. 3d. per ton. Small lots pro rata. Minimum charge, 1s.
Waipukurau Classes A, B, C, and D 25s. per ton. Small lots pro rata. Minimum charge, 1s.
Marakeke, Takapau, Whenua-hou, Kopua, Ormondville, Makotuku, and Matamau Classes A, B, and C 32s. 6d. per ton. Small lots of goods of Classes A, B, C, and D pro rata of the classified or local rate, as the case may be. Minimum charge, 1s. 6d.
Piripiri, Mangatera, and Dannevirke Classes A, B, C, and D 32s. 6d. per ton. Small lots pro rata. Minimum charge, 1s. 6d.
Tomoana Port Ahuriri Tallow or pelts 7s. 6d. per ton.
Whakatu Port Ahuriri Tallow or pelts 7s. per ton.
Awatoto Wellington Sheep-skins, calf-skins, hides, tallow, tails, horns, horse-hair, wool in bags 40s. per ton.
Napier Any station, North Island Main Line and Branches Wine, New Zealand manufacture, in cases, jars, cartons, or bulk Class D.
Napier Any station, North Island Main Line and Branches Sheep-dip, packed Class D.
Napier Hastings Classes A, B, C, and D, n.o.s., including delivery at Hastings within the area as determined by Department in that behalf 11s. 11d. per ton.
Classes A, B, C, and D, n.o.s., consigned to private sidings at Hastings 9s. 5d. per ton.
*Napier Otane Classes A, B, C, and D 21s. 3d. per ton.
Waipawa Classes A, B, C, and D 21s. 3d. per ton.

Napier or Hastings Wellington Fresh fruit and fresh vegetables as described in Reg. 85, General Scale of Charges, and Classes A, B, C, D, E, and E½, excepting benzine in bulk or in drums, explosives, dairy produce, and frozen meat 31s. per ton. Minimum quantity, 4 tons per four-wheeled wagon and 50 tons per week from Hastings and Napier to Wellington and/or Wellington to Hastings and Napier. Owners to load and unload. Participation in this rate is subject to the conclusion of a special agreement with the Department.
Port Ahuriri Any station, North Island Main Line and Branches Sheep-dip, disinfectants, and stock medicines, packed Class D.
Port Ahuriri Auckland Tobacco, packed 108s. per ton. Minimum quantity, 10 cwt. All consignments for Auckland delivered to the Department at the one time to be grouped for the purpose of arriving at the minimum specified. Small lots pro rata.
Port Ahuriri Waipukurau Cement 10s. per ton.
  • Small lots of goods of Classes A, B, C, and D from Napier to Otane, Waipawa, or Waipukurau will be charged pro rata at the local rates instead of under Regulation 71, General Scale of Charges. Minimum charge, 1s.

† Small lots of goods from Napier to stations Marakeke to Dannevirke, inclusive, will be charged pro rata at the local or classified rate, as the case may be, instead of under Regulation 71, General Scale of Charges. Minimum charge, 1s. 6d.
