NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 54 of the Land Act, 1924, that the meeting of the Canterbury Land Board fixed for Tuesday, 5th November, 1935, will be held on Tuesday, 12th November, 1935.

Land in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Optional Tenures.
North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 16th October, 1935.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on optional tenures under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 18th November, 1935.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 20th November, 1935, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Hobson County.—Tutamoe Survey District.
SECTION 3, Block XI: Area, 610 acres 2 roods. Capital value, £610. Deposit on deferred payments, £30: Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £18 17s. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £12 4s.
Weighted with the sum of £1,425 for improvements, consisting of six-roomed dwelling and conveniences, wool-shed, cow-byre, engine-room, and separator room, about 510 chains of fencing, felling and grassing. This sum may be paid in cash or may be secured to the Mortgage Corporation of New Zealand by instalment mortgage extending over a period of thirty-five years and bearing interest at 4½ per cent. per annum, reducible to 4¼ per cent. per annum for prompt payment; net half-yearly instalment is £37 14s. 5d. Cost of preparation of mortgage is £6 1s., payable by successful applicant.
This property is situated on Tutamoe—Okaharau Road, eight miles from Pakotai Post-office and Saleyards by metalled road from Whangarei, twenty miles from Kirikopuni Railway-station, and thirty miles from Maungatapere Dairy Factory. Part-time school on property. About 75 acres is easy ploughable land, balance being undulating to steep. About 150 acres in fair pasture, 300 acres in worn-out pasture, 110 acres reverted, balance in bush; well watered by springs and streams. Subdivided into seven paddocks.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection under the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlement Act, 1925; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Tuesday, 29th October, 1935.
The land described in the First Schedule may at the option of the applicants be purchased for cash or on deferred payments or be selected on renewable lease (term, sixty-six years). The land described in the Second Schedule may be selected on renewable lease only (term, thirty-three years).
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Thursday, the 31st October, 1935, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.
