Notice of Adoption under Part IX of the Native Land Act, 1931.

IT is hereby notified that an order of adoption as set out
in the Schedule hereunder has been made by the Native
Land Court under the provisions of the Native Land Act,
1931.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Land in Wellington Land District for Selection on Optional Tenure.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 28th January, 1935.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section
is open for selection on optional tenure under the
Land Act, 1924, and applications will be received at the
District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to 4 o’clock
p.m. on Monday, the 25th February, 1935.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at
the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on
Wednesday, the 27th February, 1935, at 10 o’clock a.m., but
if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by
any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown
Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Waimarino County.—Manganui Survey District.

SECTION 26, Block XVI : Area, 92 acres 0 roods 2 perches.
Capital value, £90. Deposit on deferred payments, £10 :
Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £2 12s. Renew-
able lease : Half-yearly rent, £1 16s.

Weighted with £79 (payable in cash) for improvements,
consisting of two-roomed whare with iron roof and chimney,
20 acres felled and grassed, 2 acres stumped, and 8 chains
of fencing.

Situated one mile and a half from Horopito Railway-
station by metalled road for one mile, thence unformed road
for half a mile. Level to easy undulating land of poor quality.
Approximately 20 acres has been felled and grassed, balance
is in milled bush. Soil of a light volcanic mixture on clay
formation ; permanently watered. Altitude, 2,100 ft. above
sea-level.

Land in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 29th January, 1935.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section
will be offered for sale by public auction for cash at
the District Lands and Survey Office, State Fire Insurance
Building, Wellington, on Tuesday, 5th March, 1935, at
2.30 o’clock p.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—SUBURBAN LAND.—TOWN OF RANGATAUA.

SECTION 6, Block IV : Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £3.

Improvements included in upset price consist of felling,
grassing, and fencing.

The section is situated in Rangataua Township fronting
Nei Street, a quarter of a mile from school, post-office, and
railway-station. The soil is brown loam resting on volcanic
aglomerate formation.

undersigned.

Education Reserves in Otago Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Dunedin, 28th January, 1935.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned Educa-
tion Reserves will be offered for lease by public auction
at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, at
11 o’clock a.m. on Tuesday, 5th March, 1935, under the
provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the
Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

Kauroo Survey District.—Waitaki County.

PART Section 1, Block IX, and part Section 5, Block X :
Area, 112 acres 0 roods 25 perches. Upset annual rental, £16.
Weighted with £23 14s. for improvements (to be paid
for in cash), being half value of 44 chains boundary-fencing,
£13 4s., and 12 chains of internal fencing, £10 10s.

Property is situated eighteen miles from Oamaru Post-
office. Access is by sixteen miles and a half metalled and
one mile and a half unformed road from Oamaru. Soil is of
fair quality resting on schist and clay formation. The land
lies well to the sun, and is broken by small gullies and watered
by creeks. Suitable for mixed farming and would work in
with other land.

Section 51, Block VII : Area, 10 acres 0 roods 9 perches.
Upset annual rental, £5.

Weighted with £14 12s. for improvements (fencing), to be
paid in cash.

Situated one mile and a half from Mount Cargill Post-office.
Land is of fair quality and would work in with an adjoining
property.

Section is situated a quarter of a mile from Palmerston
Post-office and Railway-station, and is suitable as a building-

Section is situated half a mile from Oamaru Post-office

Section is situated about six chains from the Main South
Road with access therefrom. The area would make a fair
building-site.

Section is situated about half a mile from the Waikouaiti
